General information

Students from abroad may use the service of the university buddy programme. In both towns ,Opava and Karvina, the university buddies help incoming students with transport to dormitories, check-ins, orientation at university/faculties/institutes and within town, and registration to information systems. The buddies are in contact with international students during their whole stay and help with integration into the student community and university life.

In the case of holding various social events such as orientation days, global villages, trips or meetings, the information concerning the events is continuously published on the social networks of Erasmus Club.  Moreover, incoming students are invited to all events, festivals, exhibitions and concerts organised or co-organized by the Student Union of Silesian University.
