On the 19th of May 2023 will be organized the seminar about the "Current status of ITER project and calorimetric measurements of fusion power output" which will be hosted by Lukasz Tomkow himself. This event will happen in the Director´s meeting room, room number 2019.

The abstract: ITER project aims to construct the experimental fusion reactor capable of obtaining and maintaining ignition conditions of plasma. The ultimate goal is to obtain the positive fusion power balance. The presentation shows the current status of the project, its recent progress, and challenges that are being solved. Additionally, the concept of calorimetric method application for fusion power determination is presented. The method includes the analysis of energy flows in ITER machine and calculation of its thermal balance to extract the total fusion power.
