Zájemce o informatiku (zejména inspirovanou přírodou) zveme na dva workshopy ve vedení našeho španělského hosta a milého kolegy, kterým je Antonio Ramírez de Arelano Marrero z univerzity v Seville. Poví nám něco o "Virus Machines", tedy výpočetních systémech inspirovaných schopnostmi virů se replikovat a přenášet z jedné hostitelské buňky do druhé. Kromě teoretického představení konceptu budou ukázány také příklady a budoucí použití. Oba workshopy budou probíhat v anglickém jazyce.

Anglický abstrakt: Nature has been a constant source of computational inspiration. Cellular automata, artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, evolutionary computation, DNA computing and membrane computing, among others, are a good panoply of examples. In these two talks, Virus Machines, inspired in the way viruses replicate and transmit from one host cell to another, are presented. Then, a review of the first steps in this novel computing model are studied, such as register machines, universality, etc. Finally, explicit examples and future works are discussed.
