As its title promises, the immersive lecture examines the multifaceted nature of Multifaceted Nature of Contemporary British Theatre and Drama. It is going to address stat-of-the-art trends of British theatre with its genesis in the 1990s. It will pay special attention to cutting edge productions for which, I will employ the term expanded theatre, a theatre performance experience understood in broader context than the traditional proscenium experience hic at nunc. The lecture will also include theatre productions that are live streamed or broadcast, (COVID 19 pandemic restrictions residue) to propose a transversal phenomenological reading that may pioneer new approaches to contemporary performance and theatre.
