Přednáší: Agustín Riscos Núñez (Universidad de Sevilla) Anotace: The use of models is intrinsic to any scientific activity. Scientists regularly use abstractions of the reality such as diagrams, graphs, plots, relationships, laws, etc. with the aim to describe and understand the reality they are examining. This talk deals with discrete and probabilistic rule-based models, as an alternative to classical continuous modelling tools such as ODEs. More precisely, we will briefly present the computational modelling frameworks developed within membrane computing, and discuss some illustrating real case studies.
