Partnership with the CNB confirmed by the signing of a memorandum
There has been a long-standing cooperation between our faculty and the Czech National Bank. CNB experts are regular guests in classes or speakers at conferences organized by our faculty. There is also a long tradition of a successful national competition for high school students on financial literacy issues, organised by the Department of Finance and Accounting in cooperation with the CNB.

Since the very beginning of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, our faculty has been intensively involved in helping people affected by the war. We try to lend a helping hand, for example, by providing material assistance, but we also try to be a support to students and academic staff coming from Ukraine and their families.

Students and teachers travelled to the Netherlands for the "Startup" BIP
This winter semester, five students from SU SBA participated in a BIP (Blended intensive programme) called - Startup Simulation Game. BIP is a special programme within Erasmus+, in which students from different European countries work together to solve assignments online in combination with short-term physical mobility.

By-election to the Student Chamber of the Academic Senate of the SU
The sub-election committee sets the schedule for the elections to the Student Chamber of the Academic Senate of Silesian University for the School of Business Administration. The first round of elections will be held from Wednesday 13 December 2023 at 8:00 a.m. to Friday 15 December 2023 at 3:00 p.m. via the IS SU information system in the "E-VOTE" section.

University West hosted the kick off event of the STARS EU alliance
From December 4th to 6th, approximately 100 individuals from the STARS EU alliance's nine partner universities gathered at University West in Trollhättan, Sweden. This assembly marked the commencement of activities for the eight work packages constituting the European University Alliance project, which is funded by the European Commission.

Pick up location of student cards and revalidation stamps
Student ID cards and revalidation stamps can be picked up at the Study Office (contact person: Mrs. Katrin Adamová, room A105, counter no. 5). Alumni cards will continue to be issued and picked up at the Card Center, where card problems will also be resolved (room A502). Pickup hours (room A105): MON 12:00-14:00; WED 9:00-11:00, 12:00-14:00; FR 9:00-11:00; 12:00-14:00. Thank you for your understanding.
