The interest of both parties in further deepening of mutual cooperation was confirmed on 12 December 2023 at the CNB headquarters by signing a memorandum of cooperation in the personal presence of CNB Governor Aleš Michl and the Dean of SU SBA, Roman Šperka. Ilja Skaunic, former Director of the CNB Ostrava Branch and now Assistant Professor at the Department of Finance and Accounting, and Daniel Stavárek, Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting and Vice-Rector of the Silesian University for Science and International Relations, contributed significantly to the development of cooperation and the conclusion of the Memorandum.

On 23 January, the Faculty will host a meeting of the CNB with primary and secondary school teachers. Four renowned experts from the CNB will speak at the event, which will focus on current financial and economic topics and will share their extensive knowledge and experience. In February, the next edition of the competition for high school students will be launched.
