Dear colleagues,

     
I would like to inform you about the basic measures at the Faculty in connection with the Government Decree on the closure of schools.

1. Classes are canceled at the School of Business Administration in Karviná  from 11/03/2020 to 29/03/2020, updated to the end of the summer semester 2020.
2. During the cancellation of the classes in the faculty premises, the part-time study form comes fully in force. Teachers are obliged to access all study materials (study support, presentations, video lectures, etc.) through elearning (moodle, IS SU) and assign study tasks and duties for the period until 29/03/2020, updated to the end of the summer semester 2020. Increased attention should be paid to the materials for the seminar component of the classes (examples, case studies, etc.)
3. If the fulfillment of a certain attendance rate is part of the course evaluation, attendance will be omitted from the evaluation and the overall evaluation will be adjusted.
4. Students communicate exclusively with teachers and faculty staff electronically.
5. The main building of the Faculty in Univerzitni nam. is closed from 17/03/2020 for the duration of the national quarantine.
6. The University Library, workplace in Karviná, is closed.
7. All workers work in the home office mode throughout the national quarantine. An exception is the provision of the necessary operation in the premises at Na Vyhlídce.
8. Consultations, meetings, small defenses of dissertations, etc. are held in the form of videoconferences.
