On 14-19 October 2019 at the partner university of Savoy Mont Blanc, the International Week was held on the topic: "How to increase the attractiveness and visibility of medium-sized universities on the international stage?". During this week, the French University organized a trade fair of partner universities and invited its students to the Jean Belecombette campus, where our university was presented together with other 48 partners. Students received presentation courses, the offer of international courses and detailed information on study opportunities at our faculty.

During the whole week, there were workshops and presentations of individual partners, who lectured on this topic. Our faculty contributed with a presentation on a successful foreign project: “Entrepreneurship Communication in Multicultural Teams”. At the same time, they were offered the opportunity to join this project in the future.
Chambery is a beautiful historic town surrounded by the majestic Savoy Alps, which continue to Mont Blanc on the French border. In the historic centre of the town is the castle of the Duke of Savoy and many other historical buildings.
With 15,000 students, the university is ranked among one of the medium-sized French universities. It is very well rated in the World University Ranking among other universities. It offers a wide selection of courses in the social, language, economic, humanities fields and great importance has been achieved primarily in technical fields. Several world patents have been created in its laboratories and it has developed a crossbow gun for French biathlete Martin Fourcad.

One of their campuses is located in Annecy, about an hour's drive from Chambery. In its vicinity, there is a beautiful glacial lake. This campus is one of the most modern parts of this university, equipped with a large technical background, a new library and modern classrooms. Here, French students have the opportunity to gain experience in robotics and technical sciences in specialized laboratories.
This semester 3 students from this partner university are studying at our university within the Erasmus + program. I believe that further cooperation will deepen in the future and we will have the opportunity to welcome French teachers again at the International Week held at our SU OPF.
