Inauguration of the new Rector and the Deans (Rector's Day)

On 16 May, the inauguration of the new Rector of Silesian University in Opava, Assoc. Prof. Tomáš Gongol, PhD, the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Science in Opava Prof. PhDr. Irena Korbelářová, Dr. and the Dean of the School of Business Administration in Karviná Assoc. Prof. RNDr. Roman Šperka, PhD will take place in the premises of the Gothic Church of St. Wenceslas on Pekařská Street in Opava on Tuesday 16 May at 1 pm. In connection with this solemn act, classes will be cancelled for this day in both cities, Opava and Karviná. All members of the academic community, including students and staff of our university are cordially invited!
