The project involves 5 European universities located in Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Partner universities emphasize enforcing of new methods in entrepreneurial education comprised in European educational policy developing skills related to initiative and entrepreneurship, which should include creativity, innovation and risk-taking, as well as management in the area of tourism. Project tasks are developed by the Dept of Tourism and Leisure Activities at School of Business Administration in Karviná, Silesian University in Opava, then submitted to the project coordinator, discussed and evaluated during project meetings regularly held in a partner institution.

The third partners´ meeting, where partial project results were presented, took place in Riga, Latvia, between January 25-28, 2023, at Turiba University in Riga. The participants of the meeting were project partners from University of Pannonia in Hungary, Turiba University in Latvia, University of Salento in Italy, Silesian University in Opava in the Czech Republic, and Constantine the Philosopher University in Slovakia.

The key activities of the meeting were related to management, administration and the financial plan of the project. Project partners needed to discuss problems connected especially with accounting and with management of the project generally. However, the most significant point of the agenda was presenting students´ results in the R2, R4 and R5 areas of the project related to the culture diversity map and hotel information systems. Groups of students from partner universities delivered presentations about their progress related to creating an e-hotel online or in case of Latvia, there was a direct presentation of a group of Latvian students. The presentations were followed by discussion of the meeting participants and evaluation of the submitted output.

Another part of the meeting was aimed at project activities and workplan updating where the coordinating institution listed the tasks to be fulfilled during the following stage of the project and documents to be submitted for the interim report of the project in the spring of 2023.

The project partners believe that the project is on the right track and that its output will contribute to implementing new educational methods in tourism teaching.
