Run with the Faculty

On 10 May 2023, the 9th edition of the event called Run with Faculty will take place. You might have noticed that we have changed the name slightly. But that is the only change. The route, distance and props remain the same. The run is from the University Square to Lodičky area. This run is open to the general public, including students and teachers or kids. You can run the race as an individual, in a relay, or you can bring your little ones along for a kids' run.

  • Date of the race: May 10, 2023
  • Race start: approx. 4:30 PM
  • Registration: 3:00 PM (University Square)
  • START: University Square 1934/3, Karviná
  • FINISH: Lodičky area Karviná
  • Entry fee: 50 CZK (payment on the spot or in room A303 in cash)
  • Entry for relay race: 100 CZK (payment on the spot or in room A303 in cash)
  • Race route:

START> Fryštátská> Bedřich Smetana Park (Regional Court)> Karola Sliwki> Spa Park (1km)> Olše Bike Trail (2km)> Dog Trainer, Božena Němcová Park (3km)> In-line trail> Fryštát Chateau (4km)> Open-air cinema> In-line trail (5km)> Lodičky area > FINISH (5.5km)

The entry fee includes: refreshments (water, fruits), medals, measuring chip. The best competitors will receive material prizes from the organizers and sponsors. The race takes place in full traffic and the rules of the road must be obeyed!  Find more information on the faculty website in Czech (e.g. map of the racing route or results from last years).
