Here you will find the current offer of study stays and work placements for the 2026/2027 academic year. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, don't forget to submit your application by March 15, 2026, at the latest. Not sure about your destination or have questions about mobility? Stop by the Erasmus Experience Day on March 11, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. in the faculty foyer. You will get an overview of the options, grants, and experiences of students who have already gone abroad.

Students of all degrees (Bachelor's, Master's, PhD) and forms of study (full-time and part-time) studying in an accredited study program at SU OPF who successfully pass the selection process are eligible to participate in foreign scholarship stays. Study stays and/or work placements can be carried out for a total duration of up to 12 months for each degree. Students can go abroad as early as the first year of their bachelor's degree.

Online application form

The following documents must be uploaded to the electronic application form for a study stay:

  • a structured CV in English
  • a letter of motivation in English, one A4 page in length (the letter should explain why you have chosen the partner university and the selected subjects or program) 
  • language exam certificates – optional attachment (mandatory for applications to the USA)

Selection procedure

  • The first round is based on the evaluation of CVs, cover letters, and academic results.
  • The second round of the selection process will take the form of an interview on March 17, 2026, in room A309 (only successful candidates from the first round will be invited). Candidates will receive the schedule for the second round of the selection process by email on March 16, 2026.

Students can choose two foreign universities. If the capacity of the priority university is filled, the student will be offered a place at the second university. When choosing a destination, it is necessary to select at least one option within the STARS EU Alliance. 

Preparatory Course for Student Mobilities

  • After a successful selection process, it is necessary to complete a preparatory course for student mobility. The course content is available in IS SU under the abbreviation OPFBPCSM
  • Upon successful completion, students will be awarded 3 ECTS credits as part of their elective courses. 

Applications for study abroad programs must be completed

by March 15, 2026, at the latest.
