Trip to Janík's Saddle - Volunteer Weekend in Nature!

Date: Friday–Sunday, 10–12 October

Meeting point: Karviná train station, departure around 10:00 a.m.

Join us for a meaningful and fun weekend in nature at Janík’s Saddle (Janíkovo Sedlo) near Kopřivnice. The main goal of the trip is to help with stacking firewood for the winter, planting trees, and other small tasks around the local hájenka (gamekeeper’s lodge) located in the beautiful NATURA 2000 protected area.

But it won’t just be about work – you’ll also get to know our newly starting ESN Club and enjoy a lively house party in the evening. Shared cooking will make the weekend even more special, with plenty of good food and cheerful moments together.

Register HERE by Thursday, 9 October at 12:00. All registered participants will receive detailed information by email.

Accommodation: free overnight stay in the lodge until Sunday (optional – you can also return the same day). Bring a sleeping bag if you have one; blankets will be provided.

In addition, you’ll also learn more about the ESN (Erasmus Student Network) Club, how it supports international students, and how you can get involved.
Whether you’re just curious or already planning your mobility, this workshop will give you valuable insights and motivation to take the next step.

End the day with a vibrant celebration at our International Night.
Enjoy an evening full of cultural exchange, presentations, and activities prepared by Erasmus students showcasing their home countries.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet both international and local students, make new friends, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

Although it’s not required, we encourage everyone to wear something that represents their own country to make the evening even more colourful and memorable.

Don’t miss this chance to experience the best of Erasmus+ – from volunteering and education to culture and friendship. We look forward to seeing you at all three events!
