We embraced rustic living by maintaining the cottage and mastering the art of making fires, both inside and outside. These activities are a bit sci-fi for the young generation in today's world, so the students had to show that they can still do it and everybody did great, nobody died of cold and at the end of the stay the cottage stood in its place, which can be considered a great success! These activities fostered teamwork and self-sufficiency.
A workshop on Erasmus+ interships was also provided, which was led by a foreign intern, Souhail Msakni, who completed an intership at our faculty in the office of the foreign relations. A workshop on traineeships provided valuable insights for our future careers.
A visit to Štramberk was the cultural highlight. Known for its Štramberk ears (Štramberské uši) and the Štramberk Tower (Trúba), the city offered stunning scenery and a taste of local traditions. We enjoyed panoramic views from the tower and savoured the delicious local pastry.
The trip was about forming bonds and creating memories. Caring for the cottage, learning new skills, and exploring Štramberk made it an enriching experience. This June adventure will remain a cherished chapter in our journey, highlighting the beauty of adventure and the power of community.
