The programme started with ice-breaking games and informal meetings, giving students the chance to get to know each other in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. During Enrollment Day, new international students officially became members of our faculty and began their academic journey.

One of the highlights of the programme was a guided tour of Karviná, where students learned more about the city and its history. We also organised a presentation about the Czech Republic, introducing students to Czech culture, traditions, and practical information about living and studying here.

Another memorable experience was a trip to Cieszyn, a unique town located on two national territories – the Czech Republic and Poland. Students had the opportunity to explore both sides of the city, learn about its history, and enjoy the special atmosphere of this cross-border destination.

The Welcome Days programme also included several social events designed to help students build friendships and experience student life. One of the most popular activities was the Student Party at Limit Bar & Café, where everyone celebrated the beginning of the semester together.

Throughout the week, students also had the opportunity to take part in various informal activities organised by the Buddy Team and ESN, creating a welcoming environment and many unforgettable memories.
