Students and applicants of Silesian University can access special education counselling and services through the Advisory Center. These services are established on well-developed concepts and methodologies.
We help solve academic and personal problems, provide crisis intervention in difficult life situations, and provide professional consultations and services to students with specific needs. Support services also include training in study and work strategies and the acquisition of work practices by which a student can compensate for their motor, sensory or cognitive disabilities. These include training in techniques for effective use of study time, training in learning strategies, scheduling study responsibilities, etc.
Students of Silesian University can take advantage of the following:
- Training programs for learning techniques designed for clients with specific learning disabilities.
- Study room of the Advisory Center with special education services.
- Consulting services in the field of time management to help students eliminate procrastination and improve their productivity.

Special education consultations and services are available by appointment from Monday to Friday. These appointments can be made via phone or email and will take place at the Advisory Center, located at 625/25 Olbrichova Street. The Advisory Center is accessible by lift from the backyard and is located on the first floor.
