To celebrate the Academic Day, the Rector of Silesian University announces that Tuesday, 14 October 2025 will be observed as a Rector’s Day. No classes will take place on this date.
Everyone is warmly welcome to the Academic Day celebration marking the start of the new academic year, held in the Church of St. Wenceslas in Opava (Pekařská Street 12) at 10:00 a.m. The event, conducted in Czech, will feature award ceremonies and a performance by the SU Chamber Choir.
