SU SBA hosted the 4th edition of the International Week event aimed to gather the teachers and staff from partner universities all around the world involved in any aspects of international relations or teaching in English. The main goal was to develop collaboration networks and to share best practices with and among our partners. A special stream of this year's edition was the first ever STARS EU Staff Week organised by the Strategic Alliance for Regional Transition (STARS EU) to support non-teaching staff from 9 STARS EU alliance universities. The STARS EU Staff Week covered 5 working groups: STARS EU offices, Erasmus without paper, Strategy advisers, E-learning experts and Communication managers. All of the meetings within the Staff Week were organized in a hybrid format, allowing those who couldn't be there in person to join the discussions online. A total of 70 participants from 14 different countries (Albania, Czechia, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Turkey and the UK) and 20 different universities joined the event in person. International teachers delivered 5 intensive 2-day lectures taught in English on different business related topics. Almost 150 students from SU SBA attended the lectures under the course “International Business Case Studies”. A vital part of the event was the cultural program which included trips to Marlenka factory in Frýdek-Místek, the leaning Church of St Peter of Alcantara, Karvina tour or golf lessons.
