Under the name of Stars Talks monthly webinars are open to the entire public on the Zoom platform, and their format is simple: the talks are short (between 15 and 45 minutes) and there is time for the public to debate and ask questions. There is one of the STARS Talks every month, ten in total each year.
The dates and speakers for the autumn 2024 are:
- September 18, Laurent Larger, University of Franche-Comté, will present “FC'INNOV Foundation: A Technology Transfer structure dedicated to innovation based on academic research”
- Abstract: The STARS Talk will present a practical experience on building a framework to support the growth of technology maturity level at university of Franche-Comté. The Foundation operates this TRL-growth mission in a close cooperation with academic research groups, and with dedicated human resources employed within the Foundation. Two such research centers have been developed at FC'INNOV, one in the field of Engineering Sciences since 2013 (based on FEMTO-ST research expertise and results), and another one in the field of biotherapies since 2021 (based on RIGHT research expertise and results). Operation and organization of the Foundation will be presented, illustrated by very practical technology achievements.
