The conference was opened by Daniel Stavárek, dean of the School of Business Administration, who admitted that there had been very few face-to-face meetings with colleagues during the pandemic time and stressed the importance of the onsite organization and was pleased to welcome almost 50 participants in Karviná. The conference hosted distinguished keynote speakers. One of them was professor Jan Frait. He was speaking on „Credit Cycles, Asset Prices, and Central Bank Policies“. Furthermore, we were pleased to welcome the keynote speech of professor Jan Hanousek, which was devoted to “Corporate Pyramid Effects in the Resolution of Financial Distress”.
All participants represented a perfect group of science enthusiasts with excellent contributions. Thanks to them for supporting our event by attending and contributing.
