Assoc. Prof. Iveta Palečková held the position for five years and made a significant contribution to the development of the faculty's research activities. She will now serve as the Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations at Silesian University.

The Dean of the faculty, Assoc. Prof. Roman Šperka, expressed his gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Iveta Palečková for her dedication and commitment in her role as Vice Dean. He highlighted her enthusiasm and significant achievements, including securing external research projects, establishing evaluation processes for creative activities, and coordinating habilitation and professorial proceedings. He described her as a wonderful colleague and wished her continued success at the university level. Additionally, he welcomed Dr. Tomáš Pražák to the faculty leadership, expressing hope for his innovative contributions. Since Assoc. Prof. Palečková also served as the statutory representative of the Dean, Dr. Šperka noted that her successor in this role would be Dr. Šimáková, the current Vice Dean for International Relations at the School of Business Administration.
