The NIBS (Network of International Business Schools) Worldwide Business Plan Competition showcased inspiring projects and innovative entrepreneurial ideas. The university round of this prestigious competition has successfully concluded, and we now know the teams that have advanced to the international round.

The NIBS competition provides students with a unique opportunity to test their skills in creating a real business plan. Participating teams first developed a Lean Canvas, which was evaluated by an expert panel. The key assessment criteria included innovation, the thoughtfulness of the Canvas model, and knowledge of the target market, including their customer.

The high level of submitted projects demonstrated that students have great ideas and the ability to turn them into real business ventures.

Results of the university round

1st–2nd place – Massage salon Maisha (Jan Herko, Maisha Františová) and Lepší Garáž (Natanael Bartík, Patrik Pomothy, Tereza Šmiřáková, Dominik Fedič, Ondra Nowak)

  • Both teams advance to the international round of the NIBS competition. In the coming weeks, they will work on expanding their business plan and will be able to consult their project with mentors. The team received a voucher to the BOK of Ka bistro, material prizes, and after submitting their business plan for the international round, both teams will receive an exceptional scholarship of 5,000 CZK.

3rd place – Reconnect (Linh Chi Nguyen, Petr Palatický, Denisa Jedináková)

  • The team was very close to advancing to the international round. Although it narrowly missed out, its project impressed the expert jury and showed high potential. The recommended improvement is a more detailed understanding of the target customer's needs.
  • The team received a voucher for the BOK of Ka bistro and other valuable prizes.

4th–6th place – Home-Lander (Prakash Christo, Fawas Sherie), Food on Wheels (Ebin Chemmayath Rexon, Rajeesh Padmarajan Shirly), Fitness Center 24/7 (Anna Magdaléna Herudková, Vojtěch Golík, Kristýna Paskerová, Michaela Kerecmanová)
