Our celebrations kicked off with a memorable trip to Janíkovo Sedlo near Kopřivnice. Students helped prepare for the winter season at the local gamekeeper’s lodge, combining hard work with fun. They also visited the picturesque town of Štramberk and enjoyed a traditional Czech campfire, fostering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The foyer in front of the Large Auditorium was buzzing with activity during our Erasmus+ workshop! Students learned all about study abroad opportunities and practical internships. Erasmus alumni shared their personal experiences, while international students set up stalls featuring traditional dishes from their home countries.
The evening turned into an epic celebration with International Night, hosted by the student initiative Inflace. Oscar from Madrid stole the show, making it a night to remember! Students enjoyed networking, tasting international cuisines, and making new connections with both local and international peers.
We wrapped up Erasmus Days with the International Student and Alumni Meetup in Ostrava, part of the Work&Life Festival. This event provided international students with a chance to connect and share their work and life experiences in the Czech Republic.
Thank you to everyone who participated! Stay tuned for more exciting events in the future!
