Bachelor’s

Graduates are prepared
- organize and manage activities
leading to activation of seniors as part of enrichment of their daily lives
with regard to their age, vocation, education or physical condition
- to seek opportunities for
educational, sightseeing and other activities of interest to seniors actively
and creatively
- to provide non-profit
organizations with preparation of animation programs for disadvantaged seniors

- personality psychology,
psychology of aging and old age, social psychology, health psychology
- sociology of aging and social
gerontology, communication with the elderly
- organization of cultural and
leisure activities, tourism and seniors,
- pedagogy and didactics for
adults and seniors
- andragogy, androdidactics and
gerontodiadactics, special gerontagogy
- cognitive training, physical
education and health activities for seniors, animation and basic therapeutic
methods
Vocational instruction
- two subjects of compulsory
professional work experience focused on the performance of individual
educational work with a client / senior under expert guidance of facility staff
member, so-called supervisor
- in nursing homes, day service
centres, day or week care centres for the elderly, geriatric wards in
hospitals, in organizations of third-age universities
Labour-market employment
- state government and regional
self-government institutions and bodies as trainers of educators for the
elderly
- non-governmental organizations
working in favour of the elderly
- organizations providing leisure
activities for seniors
- as teachers of education for
the elderly, creator of educational programs for the elderly, animator, course
leader in third-age universities and academies,
- in specialized institutions
caring for the elderly (homes for the elderly / pensioners, clubs, day centres,
hospices, sheltered housing and others as activation worker)
