Objectives of the study

  • obtain professional qualification to practice midwifery
  • prepare healthcare professionals competent to provide and perform without professional supervision and without indication basic and specialized nursing care to pregnant women, women in labour and women in the sixth week after giving birth
  • prepare healthcare professionals competent to provide and perform without professional supervision and without indication basic and specialized nursing care to newborns and perform their first examination
  • prepare healthcare professionals competent to assist under the direct supervision of a physician with specialized qualifications in gynecology and obstetrics with complicated delivery and gynecological surgery, and prepare instruments in the operating room during childbirth
