INFORMATION ABOUT THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2019/2020

Doctoral degree programme P1102 Mathematics:
- Applications for admission are assessed based on transcripts from undergraduate studies, copy of Master thesis, letters of recommendation, statement of purpose and demonstration of English proficiency. Possible scientific/scholarly work of the applicant is also taken into account.
- Term of assessment of applications: April 2019

Required annexes to applications:
Doctoral degree programme P1102 Mathematics:
- proof of completion of education at the level of Master degree: for candidates who obtained Master degree in the Czech Republic, an officially certified copy of the diploma; for candidates who obtained Master degree outside the Czech Republic, the original or certified copy of the Decision and certificate on the recognition of the university education and qualification in the Czech Republic (see https://www.slu.cz/slu/cz/sorecognition).
- diploma supplement, transcript of records of all courses, seminars, and examinations, including grades, scores, grading scales, and confirmation of degree conferral (all these documents must be in English; if records are not available in English, original records must be accompanied by certified English translations, and all translations must be literal and complete versions of the original records), electronic copy of the Master thesis, 2 letters of recommendation (to be sent by the referees directly to the email address studium@math.slu.cz before the deadline for applications) by faculty members qualified to evaluate your potential for graduate study, statement of purpose, documents demonstrating English proficiency (TOEFL or similar) (for non-native English speakers), and copies of scientific publications of the applicant (if applicable). All these documents should be supplied – after submitting the electronic application form – within the deadline requested to studium@math.slu.cz.
