The ALIVE Graduate Card is an international multifunctional identification card issued in countries where the GTS Alive Group operates.
It is recognized in the Czech Republic and abroad and entitles you to discounts within the international network of ISIC contractual partners.
You can also use it within the Silesian University, for example, for free access to the University Libraries in Opava and Karviná, for accessing discounts on educational and sports courses, or for accommodation in university dormitories. We issue the ALIVE Graduate Card as a digital card accessible through the Alive App mobile application. In the app, you will find a list of ISIC contractual partners where you can avail discounts, including the ability to view discounts on a map based on your location. Additionally, the application provides information about the validity period of the license.
Activation of the ALIVE Graduate Card in the Alive App
- Download the Alive App.
- Enter the license number assigned to your ALIVE Graduate Card, which you can find after logging in to the card portal at karty.slu.cz in the "My Card" or "Moje karta" section.
Validity of the ALIVE Graduate Card
- Validity within the Silesian University's systems
- The validity of the ALIVE Graduate Card, in terms of accessing benefits provided by the Silesian University and its contractual partners, is not time-limited.
- Validity of the ALIVE License
- A valid license is necessary to avail benefits and discounts associated with the ALIVE Graduate Card at ISIC contractual partners.
- The validity period of the ALIVE license is limited to a maximum of 16 months. It starts no earlier than September 1 and ends on December 31 of the following calendar year.
- The validity of the ALIVE license can be renewed annually by paying a revalidation fee. You can find the amount of the revalidation fee and the method of payment in the relevant sections.
- Renewal of the validity of your ALIVE Graduate Card in the Alive App will occur automatically after the payment is received in the university's account (usually within 2 days of payment).
