Author: Mgr. Jana Bortlíková
The implementation of a two-year project started on September 1, 2023, and this was the first face-to-face meeting of the project team made up of representatives from all partner universities. In addition to our faculty, which is involved for the Silesian University in Opava, two other foreign universities participate in the project, namely University West (Trollhattan, Sweden), the main coordinator of the project, and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Bragança, Portugal). Both institutions are also SU partner universities within the STARS EU alliance of European universities.

The main objectives of the project are to improve capacity for norm awareness education in HIE´s Health education and by doing so better quality of care in Europe. The context is in health care science but the outputs can and will be transferred to other subject areas and education sectors as well as society at large. More information about the project is available here.

Under the leadership of dr. Markéta Skalná, some other researchers from the Institute of Paramedical Health Sciences participate in the project as well, together with the researchers from the Institute of Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences and Institute of Special Pedagogy.
