Thanks to the initiative of the Polish Student Scientific Group "Lovers of Psychology", a group of students from the Silesian University in Opava came to the Uniwersytet Jan Długosz w Częstochowie with a reciprocal visit. The meeting was attended by the head of the Institute of Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences doc. PaedDr. Vlasta Cabanová, PhD. and Mgr. Petr Slováček, Ph.D., institutional coordinator of international relations, as well as five students of the Social Pathology and Prevention and Educational Care of the Elderly study programs. On behalf of the Polish side, the meeting was attended by dr hab  Elżbieta Napora, prof. UJD. During the meeting, the continuation of cooperation within the project "Students to students, year 2022" was discussed. Researchers representing both partner institutions proposed the creation of an international team working on research focused on the existence of a family system with the participation of grandparents. The continuation of the cooperation was approved by all the participants of this meeting with huge interest. 

Both partner institutions have been cooperating in various activities on a long-term basis. The most significant results of this collaboration currently include an article entitled Certain Predictors of Coping with Stress by the Studied Adolescents published in October 2022 in the journal Health Psychology Report, co-authored by E. Napora, V. Cabanová and M. Kolaříková. This article is the result of the research internship of the visiting scholar dr hab. Elżbiety Napora, prof. UJD. to the position of Senior Researcher at FPP in the period from 1 February to 30 April 2022, the internship was implemented as part of the project "Support for international mobility at the Silesian University in Opava II", registration number CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/18_053/0017871. This internship became an opportunity for the development and expansion of scientific cooperation also in the field of a qualitative research project concerning the comparison of the image of the family in Czech and Polish teenagers. The obtained results were presented in the form of a poster at a conference entitled Psychology in the service of the family (Polish: Psychologia w złożbie rodzyń) organized by the University of Gdańsk in Poland (Uniwersytet Gdański) in September 2022. The project team consisted of scientists from the Silesian University in Opava (doc . PaedDr. V. Cabanová, PhD., PhDr. V. Kocourková, Ph.D.) and also from Uniwersytet Jan Długosz w Częstochowie (Dr. Hab. E. Napora, Prof. UJD, Dr. E. Kornacka-Skwara, M.Sc. J . Kielińska). The prepared publication based on the results of this research became part of a book monograph co-financed within the framework of the program of the Polish Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (Polish: Minister Edukacji i Nauki) entitled "Perfect teaching - support of scientific conferences"). The article will be published later this year.
