Three new international projects Erasmus+

The Faculty of Public Policies is now participating in the implementation of 3 international projects supported by the European Union within the Erasmus+ program. In all three cases SU is in the role of a partner. The first two projects listed below are cooperative partnerships in higher education, and the third one is a project of small-scale partnership deling with youth.

Breaking Fences (implementation 9/2023 – 10/2025)
The coordinator of the project is University West (Högskolan Väst) from Trollhattan in Sweden. In addition to SU, another partner is the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança in Portugal. The main objectives of the project are to improve the educational capacity in the area of awareness of standards in HIE's Health education and thus to improve the quality of care in Europe. The context is in the field of healthcare, but the outputs will be transferred to other fields and educational sectors, as well as to society as a whole.

Innovation in and through Local Governments (implementation 10/2023 – 8/2025)
The coordinator of the project is the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança in Portugal. In addition to SU, other project partners are the Hochshule Bremen in Germany, the National Institute for Public Administration in Portugal and the FEFAL Foundation in Portugal. The project will support the co-creation of educational programs and the continuous redesign of local/regional/national public services through innovative, efficient and digital solutions to create effective value that will face the dynamic needs of civil society.

Youth grieving experience as a resource for personal growth and development (9/2023 – 8/2025)
The coordinator of the project is the association Djeca prva (Children First) in Croatia, and SU is the only partner of the project. The aim of the project is to strengthen the professional competence of the Djeca prva association's staff in the field of working with young people aged 18-29 who have experienced grief due to the loss of a loved one.
