Getting to the main faculty building at Bezručovo nám. 13

By Train

From both railway stations (Opava-východ - direction to Ostrava, Opava-západ - direction to Krnov) the main faculty building is accessible within 15 minutes.

From the railway station Opava-východ go up along Jánská street, then turn left at the traffic lights into Nádražní okruh. Follow the main road until you come to a car park on your left (nám. Svobody, pizzeria UNO) where you turn left again into Otická street. Walk about 200 metres, go past Lidový dům and then turn right and go up the stairs into an alley which will lead you to the main faculty building.

From the railway station Opava-západ go along Husova street, cross Olomoucká street and go straight ahead until you come to a park on your left (nám. Joy Adamsonové). Cross the park diagonally and you will come to the rear of the building. The main entrance is on the opposite side of the building (Bezručovo nám).

By Bus

Getting to the main faculty building from the bus stop at Těšínská takes about 20-25 minutes. Go along Těšínská and Komenského streets. At the first traffic lights go straight adead, at the second turn left into Nádražní okruh and follow the main road for about 7 minutes until you come to a car park on your left (nám. Svobody, pizzeria UNO), where you turn left into Otická street. Walk about 200 metres, go past Lidový dům and then turn right and go up the stairs into an alley which will lead you to the main faculty building.

If you are arriving from Olomouc, get off at the bus stop "U nemocnice", then go in the direction of the city centre along Olomoucká street. Go under a railway bridge and then turn right into Husova street. Go straight ahead until you come to a park on your left (nám. Joy Adamsonové). Cross the park diagonally and you will come to the rear of the building. The main entrance is on the opposite side of the building (Bezručovo nám).
