The chateau is open from April 1 to October 31. Guided tours on Tuesdays – Sundays except on the first Saturday of every month when wedding ceremonies are held here. First tour starts at 10 a.m., last tour at 4 p.m. The guided tour lasts 50 minutes.

Other places near Karviná

Check out rock clubs in Ostrava. Visit Stodolní Street in Ostrava. It is a new phenomenon in the city. It is an entertainment district aimed specially for young people. There are many clubs, pubs and bars in this area. It is really a great place for everyone who loves night life and fun (www.stodolniulice.cz).

There is a good jazz club "U Hranic" in Český Těšín and other jazz clubs in Ciezsyn in Poland.

Shopping

Shops are usually open from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. - 12 a.m. on Saturdays. Department shops and supermarkets open 7 days a week and close later.
