Temporary Suspension of Card Issuance
Due to the use of regular leave, card issuance in Karviná will be suspended from February 10 to February 14, 2025. Instead, you can pick up your card or sticker on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 12:00 to 14:00 or on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 and in the afternoon from 12:00 to 14:00. Karviná - Wednesday, October 30 CLOSED
The Card Center in Karviná will be closed on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. If you need to pick up your completed card or extend the validity of your current card, you can do so either on Wednesday, October 23, or on Friday, October 25. After that, we will be available again on Friday, November 1. Thank you for your understanding.

ID Cards for new students
Although new students can submit their applications for an identification card starting in June, they are only eligible for the card from the beginning of the academic year. Therefore, we will start processing their applications for production in August, and the cards will be issued from September 1st. Thank you for your understanding.

Automatic License Activation
Many of you have asked for the possibility of activating the ISIC or ALIVE card even before picking up the card or validation sticker itself. We have good news for you! Your voices have been heard, and starting today, all licensed cards will be active immediately upon production! The revalidation of licensed cards will occur automatically upon receipt of the relevant payment into the university's account (usually within 24 hours of payment). You will collect the revalidation sticker when you go to school. We have also retroactively activated cards that are waiting for you at the card center in Opava or the study department in Karviná. You will be able to enjoy the benefits of your cards much sooner than they reach your hands. You can find your license numbers as well as other information about your card by logging into the portal at https://karty.slu.cz.

Revalidation stickes for year 2023/2024 available
All types of revalidation stickers (ISIC, ITIC, ALIVE, STUDENT) will be available from September 27, 2023, at the card center in Opava and at the study department in Karviná. For the fee-based revalidation stickers (ISIC/ITIC/ALIVE), it is necessary to make the payment in advance through non-cash payment via the portal https://karty.slu.cz.

Pick up location of student cards and revalidation stamps
Student ID cards and revalidation stamps can be picked up at the Study Office (contact person: Mrs. Katrin Adamová, room A105, counter no. 5). Alumni cards will continue to be issued and picked up at the Card Center, where card problems will also be resolved (room A502). Pickup hours (room A105): MON 12:00-14:00; WED 9:00-11:00, 12:00-14:00; FR 9:00-11:00; 12:00-14:00. Thank you for your understanding.
