The Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) provides support for basic research projects. Under the programs, it funds scientific projects for both beginners and experienced researchers. It distributes funds independently on state administration bodies based on submitted project plans.
Applications are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the GAČR, project plans are sent to the Department of Science and International Affairs of the Institute of Physics and then forwarded for inspection to the university and the grant agency itself.
