On the 29th April International Relations Offices of the Faculty of Philosophy and Science in Opava organized a trip for international students to Pustevny. The first stop was Valaška Trail - reportedly longest sightseeing treetop trail in Europe by a 600-meter long walkway that winds through and over the treetops, or by a 150-meter long suspended Himalayan rope bridge.

The trail was created about 250 meters away from the top station of the lift that ascends to Pustevny from Trojanovice and it also includes a 22-meter tall cascade tower, the peak of which is at 1,099 meters above sea level. With good weather and visibility, it is possible to see as far as the Jeseníky and Greater Fatra mountain ranges!

After that we walked to the Statue of Radegast. „Radegast“ is the pagan god of war and victory but also the god of hospitality and abundance.

The most interesting part of the trip was skywalk of Valaška trail where students admired the beautiful nature and views. Students were impressed by the landscape of our czech mountains.

The trip was very enriching for all of the students.
