The Faculty of Philosophy and Science in Opava, Silesian University, was granted the right to conduct habilitation proceedings and proceedings for the appointment of professor on the basis of a decision of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Czechia in the fields:

• Creative Photography (accreditation validity from 13 August 2016 to 31 July 2024)
• History with a focus on Czech and Czechoslovak history (accreditation validity from 10 May 2023 to 10 May 2033)
