Revalidation stickers for the new period (Sept 1 – Dec 31, 2026) will no longer be issued. The ISIC license issuer is phasing out plastic cards. The validity of your plastic card will therefore end with your last revalidation sticker. Starting Jan 1, 2026, only digital cards available in the AliveApp will remain valid.

You can renew the validity of your licensed card by logging in to https://karty.slu.cz and paying the license fee for the new period. The successful renewal will be reflected in the digital version of your card in the AliveApp.

As of Jan 1, 2026, you will need to present your digital card in the AliveApp to all merchants, transport providers, and at Silesian University. If a merchant or transport provider refuses to accept the digital card, please direct your complaint to ISIC.cz.

Your plastic card will remain in your possession but without a revalidation sticker. You may continue using it with university chip readers (access points, turnstiles, printing, etc.).
