CEEPUS

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) is an exchange academic programme in the fields of education and research which involves 15 Central-European countries, that offers both teachers and students opportunities to spend a study or teaching period abroad at the partner universities. The programme started in 1995 and now it is in its third phase with rising success, demonstrated by the increasing number of involved participants. The main activity of CEEPUS is university networks (created minimum 3 universities from 3 different countries) operating joint programs. CEEPUS offers mobility grants for students and teachers in this framework. It is a unique opportunity to share knowledge and experiences among countries with a common cultural heritage and a strong background of academic cooperation.

Network CIII-PL-1604-01 Border and Regional Studies Network

The Border and Regional Studies Network is comprised of 15 universities located in 10 countries of Central Europe and Balkans. The network’s thematic framework will address one of the crucial problems and challenges of the XXI century like migrations,  multi-ethnic societies, revitalization of regional identities, border crossing and border revitalization (the last one strongly influenced by the pandemic). The main objective of the network is sharing and promoting of the high quality, up-to-date knowledge regarding border and regional studies among students and academics. This will be obtained by series of summer schools and seminars organized in different locations characterized by borderlandness and multi-ethnicity. In the long run we would like to  establish tradition of meetings between scholars and students interested in border and regional studies, thereby building community of researchers within the CEEPUS countries.
