The event is international, sponsored by CERN and the International Particle Physics Outreach Group. Within the Czech Republic, it takes place at several selected university departments. Globally, it is its twentieth year.

After morning introductory lectures on the world of microparticles, students will process real measured data from the ATLAS experiment at the European laboratory CERN, meet active particle physicists and connect via video conference with students from other European countries to discuss the results.
