INTERNATIONAL WEEK

From 12–16 May 2025, the School of Business Administration in Karviná hosted the 5th edition of International Week, welcoming nearly 80 participants from 15 universities across 10 countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey. The event brought together academics and staff involved in teaching and international cooperation to share best practices, build new partnerships, and foster global collaboration in education and research.

A special part of this year’s program was the second STARS EU Staff Week. Held in a hybrid format, it offered professional development and strategic meetings for staff from the alliance’s 9 partner universities. Participants engaged in a diverse program of lectures, interactive workshops, and networking sessions. International lecturers delivered English-taught sessions on topics such as digital tools for corporate performance, co-creation in education, and curriculum internationalization. More than 100 SBA students contributed to the event – attending lectures, supporting organization, and engaging with guests.
