Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes

Erasmus+ is an exchange program of the European Union that allows our students to study or work at various European universities and institutions. The Erasmus+ program now also enables short-term physical mobility combined with virtual activity within the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). BIP are short and intensive training programmes, including online cooperation by combining physical mobility with a virtual part, and promoting and using innovative ways of learning and teaching, research-based and challenge-based learning. The virtual part will allow the participation in teaching/training of experts from all partners. The physical short-term mobility will allow the face-to-face cooperation of teachers and participants. Students are awarded ECTS credits and finances for travel and accommodation.

Offered Blended Intensive Programmes

BIP - Mastering the Art of Effective Presentations

This course is designed to empower university students with the skills and confidence needed to deliver compelling presentations that resonate with diverse audiences. The course is divided into two parts: an online workshop series and a week-long intensive on-site experience. The online workshops will provide students with essential knowledge on creating successful presentations, mastering verbal communication, understanding the nuances of presenting to culturally diverse audiences and creating visually engaging presentations. The on-site portion will then allow students to apply what they've learned through practical exercises and culminate in delivering a presentation in front of a panel of experts.

What are BIPs? BIPs are short and intensive training programes that include on line lectures and a short term physical mobility. You can get funding for them through Erasmus BIP grants.

What do we expect from our participants? Take part in the 4 online workshops or watch the recordings. Here you will get the general knowledge about presentations, visuals, verbal and non-verbal communication. In Karviná take part in the on-site workshop where you can use the knowledge from online and work on your presentation and communication skills. Later in the week, use these skills to create your own presentation and present in front of a jury of experts and get feedback on your performance. Our on-site part of the program is also filled with social activities, so have fun!
