Working with children and youth goes beyond the boundaries of a single
profession – it requires cooperation, a variety of approaches, and diverse
professional competencies. Interprofessional collaboration allows for a better
understanding of the complex needs of both the child and their family, enabling
more sensitive and effective responses.
When professionals from education, social services, healthcare, or justice
truly work together, they can prevent risks, strengthen protective factors, and
provide support that truly makes a difference. Shared responsibility and open
communication across professions increase the chances of offering timely and
meaningful help where it is most needed.
This conference offers a space to share inspiring experiences from practice,
present research findings, and engage in open dialogue about what
interprofessional cooperation really means today. Together, we aim to explore
new ways to improve mutual communication, support children and families, and
meaningfully connect different perspectives and professional approaches.
