The GROWTH project focuses on supporting young people who have experienced the loss of a loved one. As part of the final phase of the project, a round table was held on 10 June in Zagreb, Croatia, organised by the project coordinator Djeca Prva.

The event was attended by experts from the fields of counselling, psychotherapy and youth work and offered a space for sharing experiences and recommendations for working with young people going through the grieving process. The outputs of the project were also presented: a manual with recommendations for working with grieving young people, podcasts sharing authentic stories of participants and other support materials.

Our academic staff presented experiences from the Czech environment and engaged in a discussion about good practice and the needs of the target group. In addition to attending the roundtable itself, they also participated in working sessions at the Djeca Prva headquarters.
