There is no university canteen for students in Opava but students can choose from the ones of local high schools (Mendelovo Gymnázium on Komenského Street and Matiční Dům at Rybí trh).
The students are also entitled to buy meal tickets which are valid in most restaurants in Opava. The price of the ticket is 43 CZK and its value is 60 CZK (the extra 17 CZK is provided by SU).
