From the moment the electronic application is submitted to the card issue, each request goes through several processes. After completing each process, the request enters a new phase (or stage). The stage of each request is indicated by a verbal expression or corresponding abbreviation in the system.

During the electronic application process, the applicant selects the card type, distribution point, uploads a photo, and submits the entire request. From this point onwards, the request will gradually go through the stages listed below. You can view the current stage of your request by logging into the karty.slu.cz portal under the "My Card" or "Moje karta" section. The progression of the request through each stage is also clearly displayed on a timeline.

    • Waiting for payment - Čeká na platbu (CP)
      • Only requests with a payment obligation (applications for licensed cards ISIC, ITIC, ALIVE, ALIVE employee, ALIVE graduate) enter this stage. Other requests go straight to the Awaiting Approval stage.
      • Waiting for the applicant's payment to be completed.
      • The payment details required for payment are displayed to the applicant on the "My Card" or "Moje karta" section.
      • Once the payment is received into the university's account, the request is automatically moved to the Awaiting Approval stage.
    • Awaiting Approval - Čeká na schválení (CS)
      • The request is awaiting approval of the photo by the card center administrator.
      • If the photo meets the prescribed parameters, the administrator moves the request to the Waiting for Printing stage. Otherwise, the request is moved to the Request Rejected stage.
    • Request Rejected - Žádost zamítnuta (ZZ)
      • The applicant has provided an unsatisfactory photo and must update their request by uploading an acceptable photo. The request is then returned to the Awaiting Approval stage.
    • Waiting for printing - Čeká na tisk (CT)
      • The photo has been approved. For requests with a payment obligation, payment is paired with the request. Data transfer from the request to the printing application is awaited.
    • Card in Production - Karta ve výrobě (KV)
      • Data from the request is being transferred to the printing application. The data is supplemented with a unique hexadecimal card code and, for licensed cards, a unique license number. The plastic card blank is being printed.
    • Card in Transit - Karta v přepravě (PR)
      • The card is waiting for transportation from the production site to the distribution point chosen by the applicant. Card transportation occurs on an as-needed basis at irregular intervals, taking advantage of opportunities during the transportation of other individuals or materials between distribution points. However, typically at least once a week.
    • Card Ready - Karta připravena (P)
      • The card is ready for issuance at the chosen distribution point. At this stage, for licensed cards ISIC/ITIC/ALIVE, you can activate the digital version of your card in the Alive App and start using the discounts associated with your card before picking up the plastic version of your card at the distribution point. Simply download the Alive App and enter the license number, which you can find after logging into the karty.slu.cz portal under the "My Card" or "Moje karta" section. The license number is also printed on the plastic version of your card.
