The three-day event will provide a space for in-person
meetings and dialogue, strategic reflection, and collaboration among partner
institutions. Participants will review progress made within the alliance,
address current challenges, and define shared priorities that will shape the
next phase of cooperation.
The program will start with an official grand opening and
plenary sessions, followed by thematic workshops, networking activities, and a
series of parallel working groups. These will focus on key areas of
development, including curricular innovation and mobility, the integration of
artificial intelligence into teaching and learning, the development of physical
and digital learning environments, and the promotion of future skills and
interdisciplinary education.
Central to the conference is the concept of transformative
education, reflecting the European university's shared ambition to rethink
learning in response to rapid societal, technological, and environmental
change. Emphasis is placed on fostering critical thinking, creativity, civic
engagement, and the ability to respond to complex global challenges,
positioning higher education as a driver of sustainable and inclusive
transformation. By bringing together experts from across disciplines and
backgrounds, the conference reinforces a shared European vision of education as
a transformative force for a sustainable and inclusive future.
An integral part of the conference program is the
accompanying international exhibition “Pedagogy as Art, Art as Pedagogy,” which
will open on 25 March 2026 at 17:30 at Galerie Hauerova 4 and run until 12 May
2026. The exhibition presents multimedia works by educators from the STARS EU
Thematic Interest Group Arts and Creative Industries, from six countries, and
explores the intersection of artistic practice, research, and pedagogy.
