The Strategic Alliance for Regional Transition (STARS EU) brings together the considerable strengths of 9 longstanding, complementary types of higher education institutions in an ambitious effort to create structural societal impact on a local, inter-regional and international scale. The goal of the Alliance is to accelerate regional transformation toward a more sustainable future. The Alliance was awarded the prestigious European University status by the European Commission in the Erasmus+ Call for European Universities 2023.

Our faculty is a proud partner of International Student Seminar, the traditional meeting of students of Politechnika Rzeszowska, the Faculty of Management and Silesian University in Opava, School of Business Administration in Karviná.

Within the set time limit students present their projects, seminar or diploma theses in English, with papers from many areas, such as marketing, information technology, finance, management and other social science disciplines. The aim of these joint seminars is to strengthen students' language skills and enable students to acquire professional terminology in English, their presentation skills and, last but not least, the ability to respond to additional audience questions. The seminar is traditionally organized as a competition and the best presentations are awarded.

Our faculty is cooperating with three Chinese universities: Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics, and Dongguan University of Technology, School of Business and Economics. 

Thanks to this cooperation, our faculty is hosting Chinese students and academics. Our academic staff have the opportunity to teach at our partner universities in China.
