“Discover Shanxi”, a winter camp organized by SXUFE, will guide you to tour around the ancient yet lively city of Taiyuan. This online course, through recorded videocasts and synchronous teaching over a period of three weeks, will explore with you this ancient city to learn about its long history, profound culture as well as the brilliant stories of Shanxi Merchants. Through cloud tour, you can visit Shanxi Museum, the Jinci Tang Museum and Shanxi Merchants Museum. Listening to Guzheng, a Chinese folk musical instrument, and watching the Chinese tea art, martial arts, calligraphy, texture rubbings and Shanxi noodles culture, you will be able to appreciate the unique charm of Chinese culture, and learn to speak and write Chinese characters and communicate with simple Chinese language.

All participants will receive a completion certificate at the end of their study.
