At present, the Faculty of Public Policies in Opava provides a wide range of courses which enable graduates to find employment in the public service and public policy sectors. Within a total of four study programmes, the Faculty provides six fields of specialization – four for students working toward a bachelor’s degree and two for those interested in earning a master’s degree as part of a follow-up programme.
The academic staff of the Faculty of Public Policies is involved in implementing a multitude of domestic and international research projects and grants, which creates interesting opportunities for various research activities of students as well.
Currently, the Faculty of Public Policies has 1,200 students and all the programmes are based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). A prerequisite for the admission into the Faculty of Public Policies is passing the entrance examination. More detailed information is posted on the Faculty’s website.
